How do I add inline images and videos in articles?
Open the expanded article editor, insert media and fix missing or blocked embeds.
Open the extra editing tools
- Select the Article section in the builder.
- Choose Expand to use more tools below the text editor.
- Place the cursor where the media should appear.
- Use Insert Image to choose an image from the gallery, or Insert Video to enter a supported YouTube or Vimeo link.
- Choose a caption and alignment in the media options, insert it and save the expanded editor's changes.
Why are the image and video buttons missing?
They are in the expanded editor, not the compact article toolbar. An article's main image is configured separately from images inserted into its text.
Why does a video not play?
Use a public video that permits embedding. Private, removed or embedding-restricted videos may not play even with a valid link. Test the published page in a normal browser. If media is still missing after saving, with the page address and the error.
